School leaver

If you are a school leaver who is considering secondary teaching you can choose from these options to complete a secondary teaching qualification at a teacher education provider:

Complete a specialist subject degree followed by a one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) or
Complete a combined specialist subject degree and secondary teaching qualification.

For secondary teaching it is really important that your degree includes two teaching subjects otherwise you may have to do extra study.
